Aunque se han abordado las relaciones entre el grupo de poetas conocido como generación del 27 y los movimientos de Vanguardia, en el caso singular de la poesía de Pedro Salinas, y concretamente en su producción agrupada en torno a la primera etapa, este vínculo se ha resuelto desde el absoluto aminoramiento de este influjo o desde una interpretación superficial, que lo compromete temáticamente con ciertos inventos novedosos o intereses de tipo científico. Sin embargo, el carácter de humanización de la estética vanguardista advierte una influencia de primer orden que, junto a la tradición, el unanimismo, la poesía pura, el intelectualismo o el krausismo, se enraíza en una concepción poética gnoseológica en permanente búsqueda de lo absoluto desde lo sensible, enmarcada en la modernidad que reclama la estética de lo sublime.
Although the relations between the group of poets known as the Generation of '27 and the avant-garde movements have been addressed, in the singular case of Pedro Salinas' poetry, and specifically in his production grouped around the first stage, this link has been resolved from the absolute lessening of this influence or from a superficial interpretation, which commits it thematically to certain novel inventions or scientific interests. However, the humanizing character of avant-garde aesthetics reveals a first-order influence that, together with tradition, unanimism, pure poetry, intellectualism or Krausism, is rooted in a gnoseological poetic conception in permanent search for the absolute from the sensible, framed in the modernity that demands the aesthetics of the sublime.
