Manuel Lacunza’s reading of the eschatological tradition, especially the millenarian tradition of the 2nd and 3rd centuries, is guided by the will to understand the historical circumstances of the late 18th century, considering the phenomena that the Jesuit recognizes in the Holy Scriptures, in relation to his life context and work.
