This study deals with coordination from a lexical-semantic view point and verifies the base structure of semantic predicates for each coordinating type. The first item sets up the general lexical-semantic hypothesis of the coordination starting with the predicate ALTERNATIVE which in successive forms exhaust the coordinated structure, with the predicate NEGATIVE. The second item considere that coordination in its development shows not only coordination of clauses but also coordination of performance. The third item sets up the problem of JUXTAPOSITION and of the distributive clauses in particular, in which the structure of asyndeton is established, and its semantic equalization to the copulative clause is stated.
