Se aborda la cartelera teatral de Luis de Belmonte Bermúdez durante el siglo XVII, concluyendo qué comedias fueron más exitosas y en qué ámbitos se representaron, poniéndolas siempre en relación con la fortuna editorial. El trabajo concluye que Belmonte no fue en ningún caso un autor prolífico ni exitoso. Al colaborar con ciertos dramaturgos prestigiosos, sus comedias en colaboración pudieron ser representadas con cierta frecuencia. Por último, se señala la posibilidad de sus buenas relaciones con la aristocracia, dado que su teatro se escenificó en varias ocasiones durante los años 20 en palacio.
This study analyzes the theatrical billboard for Luis de Belmonte Bermúdez during the 17th century, ascertaining which comedies were the most successful and where they were represented, always bringing them into relation with their publishing fortune. The work concludes that Belmonte never was a prolific or successful author. By collaborating with certain prestigious playwrights, some of his comedies could be performed with relative frequency. Finally, the study explores the possibility of Belmonte’s good relations with the aristocracy, given that his drama was staged on several occasions during the 1620s at court.
