En este trabajo abordo el estudio de la escritura de María Vinyals, más conocida como la aristocrática marquesa de Ayerbe y la socialista María de Lluria, una mujer comprometida con el tema de la educación, el feminismo y el socialismo. María escribió una obra histórica (El castillo del marqués de Mos en Sotomayor), una novela (Rebelión), una docena de cuentos, una traducción y varios textos memorialísticos; con ellos se sitúa en la estela de escritoras aristócratas de su tiempo como la duquesa de Alba o la marquesa de Bolaños. Lo más interesante de su escritura son, sin embargo, sus artículos periodísticos (sobre todo los publicados en El Fígaro y El Socialista), que evidencian su compromiso con las causas mencionadas: son la cara de una moneda cuya cruz la conforman los varios discursos que pronunció a lo largo de los años.
In this work I will to study the writing of Maria Vinyals, known like the aristocratic Marquise of Ayerbe and the socialist Maria de Lluria, a woman who was engaged with the subject of the education, the feminism and the socialism. Maria wrote an historical work (El Castillo del marqués de Mos en Sotomayor), a novel (Rebelión), a dozen of short stories, one translation, and some memoirs; with all of them she can stand beside the aristocratic women writers of its time like the Duchess of Alba or the Marquise of Bolaños. Nevertheless, the most interesting part of her writing they are the journalistic articles (mainly published in El Fígaro and El Socialista), that demonstrate her engagement with the mentioned causes: they are the face of a currency whose cross is made up by the several speeches that she pronounced throughout the years.
