Esta reseña comenta tres obras que versan sobre Poeta en Nueva York, de Federico García Lorca: una edición original del poemario, una monografía sobre su estancia en el continente americano y un estudio analítico y pormenorizado. La primera de ellas, editada y comentada por Andrew A. Anderson, incluye información sobre el contexto y el momento biográfico de Lorca justo antes de la publicación de su poemario. En la monografía también participó Anderson, ya que es un lorquiano reputado, y, junto a Christopher Maurer, recopiló cartas y documentos de Lora para dar fe de lo que hizo en Estados Unidos y Cuba y cómo sus vivencias propiciaron la obra poética. Por último, el estudio de José Antonio Llera es muy relevante en cuanto a contenido, por la bibliografía y el carácter interdisciplinar, y también respecto a todas las temáticas que analiza y conecta, solamente comentando cuatro poemas. Las tres obras marcan un avance mayor respecto a la poesía lorquiana gracias a sus profundos análisis y nuevas perspectivas.
This review comments on three works that deal with Poeta en Nueva York, by Federico García Lorca: an original edition of the collection of poems, a monograph on his stay in the American continent and an analytical and detailed study. The first of them, edited and annotated by Andrew A. Anderson, includes information on the context and biographical moment of Lorca just before the publication of his collection of poems. Anderson also participated in the monograph, since he is a renowned Lorca native, and, together with Christopher Maurer, he compiled Lora's letters and documents to attest to what he did in the United States and Cuba and how his experiences propitiated the poetic work . Finally, the study of José Antonio Llera is very relevant in terms of content, due to the bibliography and its interdisciplinary nature, and also with respect to all the themes that he analyzes and connects, commenting only on four poems. The three works mark a major advance with respect to Lorca's poetry thanks to their deep analysis and new perspectives.
