Como ya han hecho en otras ocasiones, Solange Hibbs y Jacques Ballesté han vuelto a publicar ensayos sobre las utopías que se escriben en el siglo XIX y XX españoles. Por ejemplo, en esta ocasión analizan a Perfecto Gandarias, Leopoldo Alas Clarín, Rosario de Acuña… En su libro hay diversos colaboradores que también escriben sobre distopías de siglos más antiguos, como el XVIII. Además, se analizan autores como Julián del Casal y Eugenio D’Ors, que fueron a Francia para buscar inspiración para sus obras, ya que París era entonces un destino utópico. Como siempre, se mezclan literatura e historia, ficción con biografía. Esta reseña rescata los puntos más relevantes tratados en esta colección de ensayos, en la que se habla de novelistas y escritores clave del siglo XIX español, así como de otros no tan conocidos, sin olvidar a los del siglo XX.
As they have done on other occasions, Solange Hibbs and Jacques Ballesté have once again published essays on the utopias that were written in the Spanish 19th and 20th centuries.
