El Grupo de investigación del cuento español del Siglo XIX, en colaboración con otros escritores y especialistas, ha publicado un libro sobre la importancia de las narraciones cortas escritas en España en el siglo XIX. A lo largo del libro se analizan autores o cuentos específicos y reconocidos, aunque también se incluyen estudios de los menos conocidos. Quienes han escogido narraciones concretas, analizan sus técnicas y explican su relevancia para la época, mientras que los que han elegido comentar autores lo hacen con una biografía de los escritores, contextualizando su tiempo y sus obras, sean conocidos o no. La bibliografía que concluye el libro es inmensa y prueba la enorme labor de investigación e interés en torno al cuento decimonónico español.
The Grupo de investigación del cuento español del Siglo XIX, in collaboration with other writers and specialists, has published a book on the importance of short stories written in Spain in the 19th century. Throughout the book, specific and well-known authors or stories are analyzed, although studies of lesser-known ones are also included. Those who have chosen specific narratives analyze their techniques and explain their relevance for the time, while those who have chosen to comment on authors do so with a biography of the writers, contextualizing their time and their works, whether they are known or not. The bibliography that concludes the book is immense and proves the enormous work of research and interest around the nineteenth-century Spanish story.
