Esta crónica recoge las actividades llevadas a cabo en el seminario «Literatura y cine: Mario Camus», celebrado entre el 1 y el 5 de agosto de 2016, en el Paraninfo de la Magdalena. Se destacó la relevancia en el cine de Camus y se realizaron conferencias dedicadas a Aldecoa, Pérez Galdós, Calderón, Cela y García Lorca, y a las respectivas adaptaciones del santanderino. Además, hubo mesas redondas en las que los asistentes pudieron escuchar al director y a los distintos especialistas reflexionar sobre lo anterior y que les permitieron aproximarse a la literatura española a través de la filmografía de Mario Camus.
This chronicle includes the activities carried out in the seminar «Literature and Cinema: Mario Camus», held between 1 and 5 August 2016, at the Paraninfo de la Magdalena. The relevance in the cinema of Camus was highlighted and conferences were held dedicated to Aldecoa, Pérez Galdós, Calderón, Cela and García Lorca, and the respective adaptations of the santanderino. In addition, there were round tables in which attendees could listen to the director and the different specialists reflect on the above and that allowed them to approach Spanish literature through the filmography of Mario Camus.
