Es una tarea –partiendo de las raíces de este árbol– que nos llevará a levantar el velo de un cante flamenco, con el norte perdido, que empezó a orientarse en el año 1955, año del Concurso Nacional de Cante Jondo de Córdoba, con el ánimo de conseguir –lo que intentaron en vano Lorca y Manuel de Falla–, en aquel histórico Concurso de Granada en 1922.
It will be a task –starting from the roots of this tree– that will lead us to lift the veil of a flamenco song, with the north lost, which began to orient itself in 1955, the year of the National Contest of Cante Jondo de Córdoba, with the spirit of achieving –what Lorca and Manuel de Falla tried in vain–, in that historic Contest of Granada in 1922.
