Neste traballo seleccionamos as locucións verbais, adverbiais e adxectivas recollidas no primeiro acto dunha das comedias menos coñecidas de Benito Pérez Galdós. O saber literario do novelista e dramaturgo, como indican as nosas investigacións, baséase non só na intensidade dun léxico finamente entretecido, nunca aleatorio, senón tamén, neste caso, na riqueza da fraseoloxía, que lle serve ao autor para caracterizar eficazmente os seus personaxes. O corpus confeccionado réxese por parámetros de agrupación útiles de cara á sistematización e análise do material lingüístico extraído a partir da detida lectura do acto en cuestión. A pesar de que non considerabamos ningún enfoque ecdótico, pretendemos destacar, grazas á edición crítica elaborada por Juan Gallego Gómez (2000), a intención galdosiana para nada inconsciente de enriquecer as versións posteriores con fraseoloxismos que, de feito, non cabían na primeira ideación. O estudo finaliza cunha sorte de reconto estatístico orientado á distinción dos personaxes que interveñen na obra segundo a abundancia da súa aportación fraseolóxica.
In this article, verbal, adverbial and adjective locutions found in the first act of one of Benito Pérez Galdós’ less-known comedies are extracted. According to previous research, the novelist and playwright’s literary knowledge is based not only on the intensity of a consciously selected, finely interwoven lexicon but also on the richness of the phraseology the author uses in this work to effectively characterise his characters. The resulting corpus has been structured according to grouping parameters which are useful for systematising and analysing the linguistic material obtained from the in-depth reading of the said act. Even if no ecdotic approach has been considered, the critical edition by Juan Gallego Gómez (2000) has helped us to highlight the never-unconscious Galdosian intention to enrich future versions with phraseological units that were not originally contemplated. This study ends with a sort of statistical report aimed at distinguishing the characters in the play on the basis of their phraseological contribution.
