La base de datos ISTAE, dedicada a reunir y describir los impresos sueltos teatrales publicados entre 1600 y 1834, ha obligado a acercarse en detalle a unas ediciones teatrales tradicionalmente desatendidas, lo que ha permitido recuperar ediciones que se creían perdidas o distinguir distintas ediciones donde parecía haber solo una. En este artículo se analiza el caso de seis ediciones sueltas de La sibila del oriente y gran reina de Sabá, de Calderón, agrupadas en dos títulos distintos y relacionadas entre sí, y se filian textualmente, atendiendo también a la edición de Vera Tassis.
ISTAE, a database dedicated to gathering and describing suelta editions of plays published between 1600 and 1834, has allowed scholars to approach in detail these traditionally neglected theatrical editions. This has led us to recover editions that were believed to be lost or to distinguish between different editions when we believed only one existed. In this article I analyse the case of six separate editions of Calderón’s La sibila del oriente y gran reina de Sabá, which can be divided into two different groups based on their titles and their relationship among each other. I also collate these editions and explain their textual relationship with the Vera Tassis edition
