Los objetivos principales de este trabajo son 1) identificar la mayor o menor utilización del euskera entre la juventud de Lizarra, y 2) deducir los perfiles sociolingüísticos de los neohablantes en función de la frecuencia de uso del euskera y de las mudas lingüísticas. Para ello se han utilizado las respuestas de un cuestionario respondido por 36 jóvenes. En cuanto a los resultados, a pesar de que usan poco el euskera, hemos identificado hablantes proactivos, que han desarrollado ámbitos más euskaldunes y/o mudas. También hay quien emplea menos el euskera que otros o quien ha disminuido su utilización (hablantes reacios). Por último, hemos incluido al resto en el perfil de acomodados.
This work has two main objectives: 1) to identify how much young people from Lizarra use Basque and in which situations they use it most and least, and 2) to deduce the sociolinguistic profiles of the new speakers according to the frequency of their use of Basque and linguistic mudes. For this purpose, the responses of 36 young people to a questionnaire were used. As for the results, we have identified proactive speakers, who have developed more Basque-speaking spheres or have made mudes. We have also detected new speakers who use Basque less than others or who have greatly decreased their use (reluctant speakers). Finally, we have included the rest within the accustomed profile.
Lan honek bi helburu nagusi ditu: 1) Lizarrako gazteek euskara zenbat eta gehien/gutxien zein egoeratan erabiltzen duten ikustea eta 2) euskararen erabilera maiztasunaren eta muda linguistikoen arabera, hiztun berrien profil soziolinguistikoak ondorioztatzea. Horretarako, galdetegi bidez jasotako Lizarrako 36 gazteren erantzunak erabili ditugu. Emaitzei dagokienez, euskara gutxi erabiltzen duten arren, esparru euskaldunagoak garatu edota mudak gauzatu dituzten hiztunak, hiztun proaktiboak, identifikatu ditugu. Halaber, batzuek euskara beste batzuek baino gutxiago erabiltzen dute edo erabilera asko gutxitu dute (hiztun uzkurrak). Azkenik, gainerakoak profil epelaren barruan sartu ditugu.
