Analizamos la aplicación de las premisas preceptivas de decoro y vero- similitud en los Quijotes deCervantes y Avellaneda, observando particularmente en este último las repercusiones ideológicas de su ejercicio. El análisis se siglo XVII altiempo que reflexionaremos sobre laevolución histórica de los conceptosde influencia y originalidad. Finalmente nos referiremos a la risacomo efecto de la pragmática del decoro.
This paper analyzesthe appli- cation of the preceptive premises of deco- rum and verisimilitudein Cervantes’ and Avellaneda´s Quixotes, with special attention to the ideologicalresonances in the last one. The analysis is supported by the Horacian Ars, Pinciano’spreceptive, and the Aristotelian background from which these concepts emerge. Besides, as a preliminary context, we will situate the act of imitationas an inherent practice of the literary worldin the 17th century and we will also reflect on the historic evolution of theconcepts of influence and originality. Finally, we will referto laugh as an effect of the pragmatics of decorum.
