The aspect of a verb in Slavonic languages is an extremly complicated question and completly different from what we call aspect in Romance languages. Therefore the conceptions of perfect and imperfect in both linguistic groups, in spite of occasional similarities, can’t be identified.
On the whole the Romance aspect has a purely temporal caracter, independent from the meaning of the verb, whereas the Slavonic one is a phenomenon lying on the border line between lexicology, semanctis and grammar.
