En este artículo se realiza un recorrido comparativo por la mayor parte de las versiones tradicionales del cuento de Caperucita Roja, recuperando sobre todo algunas de las más antiguas inéditas aún en español y prestando especial atención a su simbología: esas encrucijadas entre los caminos de agujas y los de alfileres. Se analiza también una selección de adaptaciones de literatura infantil que recuperan diferentes aspectos de dicho cuento. Todo ello con el objetivo, entre otros, de profundizar en los cambios desde una perspectiva de género.
In this article, a comparative review of most of the traditional versions of the tale of «Little Red Riding Hood» is developed, recovering above all some of the oldest ones still unpublished in Spanish and paying special attention to their symbology: those crossroads between the paths of needles and those of pins. A selection of adaptations of children's literature that recover different aspects of the tale is also analyzed. All this with the aim, among others, of deepening the changes from a gender perspective.
