El trabajo estudia la devoción a la patrona de la villa de Guadalcázar –Nuestra Señora de la Caridad– en la ciudad de Córdoba durante el siglo XVIII a través de la ermita y cofradía erigidas en su honor. El intenso fervor despertado a esta advocación mariana se manifiesta también por medio de las mandas de limosnas y otros indicadores elocuentes.
This work studies the devotion to the patron saint of the town of Guadalcázar –Our Lady of Charity– in the city Córdoba during the 18th century through the hermitage and confraternity erected in her honour. The intense fervour aroused by this Marian devotion is shown through the alms orders and other eloquent indicators.
