Este artículo analiza las relaciones textuales entre la obra de Juan Eusebio Nieremberg y Francesc Eiximenis, y apunta al interesante entramado que enlaza las traducciones castellanas del Llibre dels àngels en el siglo XV con las lecturas de los círculos intelectuales madrileños de la primera mitad del siglo XVII.
This article analyses the textual relationship between the works of Juan Eusebio Nieremberg and Francesc Eiximenis. This connection gives a preliminary insight about the way Eiximenis’ angeological theory was used by intellectual circles in Madrid during the first half of the seventeenth century, thanks to the fifteenth-century translation of the Llibre dels àngels into Spanish.
