Este trabajo examina la imagen encabezada por el verso “CRUZ DEL SUR”, al final de Ecuatorial de Vicente Huidobro, como eje en torno al cual el poema genera un tipo particular de recepción desde la que se hacen visibles los motivos y procedimientos desplegados en la escritura, a la vez que se constituye en un objeto autónomo producido por relaciones verbales, en correspondencia con la concepción creacionista del poema como un hecho nuevo.
This paper focuses on the image that begins with the verse “CRUZ DEL SUR” in Ecuatorial by Vicente Huidobro as an axis around which the poem produces a particular reader response that exhibits the motifs and procedures developed by its writing, and furthermore as an autonomous object produced by verbal relations, in accordance with the creationist conception of the poem as a new event
