El advenimiento de la Inteligencia Artificial Generativa (IAG) está transformando el marco laboral incluso para profesiones que antes se consideraban fuera del rango de lo automatizable, como son las artes o la atención al cliente, esto en adición a las ya identificadas actividades repetitivas como la manufactura y ciertas labores administrativas. El rápido progreso de IA sugiere que esta frontera continuará recorriendo, obligándonos a los seres humanos a repensar nuestro rol en la sociedad y las mejores rutas para prepararnos para este futuro ya no tan lejano. En este contexto, profesores y alumnos nos vemos en la necesidad de modificar nuestros métodos, objetivos y roles. Para lograrlo, podríamos contar precisamente con el apoyo de las herramientas de la IA, utilizadas de forma adecuada. En este artículo se plantea el escenario cambiante donde se darán las actividades educativas, se señalan las debilidades y concepciones erróneas más comunes en lo referente a la IAG, así como desarrollos a futuro, con lo cual se proponen varios usos que podremos dar a esta tecnología para adaptarnos a los cambios que ella misma está trayendo.
The advent of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) is transforming the labor framework even for professions that were previously considered outside the range of automatability, such as the arts or customer service, in addition to the already identified repetitive activities such as manufacturing and certain administrative tasks. The rapid progress of AI suggests that this frontier will continue to be shifted, forcing us humans to rethink our role in society and the best routes to prepare ourselves for this not-so-distant future. In this context, teachers and students find ourselves in the need to modify our methods, objectives and roles. To achieve this, we could count on the support of AI tools, used appropriately. This article presents the changing scenario where educational activities will take place, points out the most common weaknesses and misconceptions regarding the GAI, as well as future developments; alongside, several uses we can give to this technology are proposed, so that we may adapt to the changes that it itself is bringing.
