Neste documento realízase un estudio sociollingüístico del eonaviego, úa de las llinguas propias del occidente del Principao d’Asturias, y úa aproximación a la súa realidá entre el alumnao d’ESO y Bachillerato del IES Galileo Galilei de Navia. Este centro acoye alumnos de las poblacióis de Navia, Cuaña y, en menor medida, Villayón, El Franco, Tapia, Bual y Castropol.
En primeiro llugar resúmese y coméntase la situación actual de la llingua según el III Estudio Sociollingüístico del Navia-Eo., pásase a estudiar de primeira mao, mediante un cuestionario nel que se recoye el trabayo de campo realizao nel propio centro, la situación actual de la llingua eonaviega entre xente d’edades comprendidas entre los 12 y los 18 anos de los conceyos xa mencionaos.
In this document, we present the results of a sociolinguistic study made among IES Galileo Galilei (Navia) students. The aim of the study was approaching to the reality of the native language of this zone (principally Navia, Cuaña, but also Villayón, El Franco, Tapia, Bual and Castropol), the Eonaviego, among youth and see how this age group knows and uses this language.
First, we sum up the actual situation of the language based on previously published studies (III Navia-Eo Sociolinguistic Study). Finally, we analyse the answers these students gave in a linguistic survey specially prepared for the occasion. This allowed us to develop a sociolinguistic study of Eonaviego in people between 12 and 18 years old from the previously mentioned high school and villages.
