Este artículo aborda los inicios de la formación de la red de correos en Brasil. El principal objetivo es analizar la transformación de las formas de concebir y de experimentar el tiempo y el espacio a través de la creación de una red de comunicación regular. Se procura demostrar que la estructuración de esta red de correos se produjo a través de la temporalización del espacio, además de modificar las condiciones de integración de las piezas del imperio portugués en medio de una delicada situación geopolítica, reduciendo parcialmente el carácter fragmentario de su espacialidad y promoviendo vectores de unificación territorial.
This article aims to examine the initial moment of the formation of the postal network in Brazil. It sought to analyze a transformation in the ways of conceiving and experiencing time and space through the creation of a network of regular communication. It is argued that the structuring of this postal network occurred through the temporalization of space, in addition to modifying the conditions of integration of parts of the Portuguese empire in the midst of a sensitive geopolitical situation, partially reducing the fragmentary character of its spatiality by promoting vectors of territorial unification.
