La epístola de campesinos 2.35 de Alcifrón y la elegía de Salmácide: una nota de crítica textual

    En este artículo se defiende la propuesta de mantener sin corregir el texto transmitido en Alciphr. II 35.1 gracias al cotejo de los datos proporcionados por la elegía epigráfica de Salmácide, conocida como «El orgullo de Halicarnaso» (SGO 01/12/02) y a una consideración de esta epístola más atenta al virtuosismo literario de los autores de la Segunda Sofística.

    Here, I shall argue that the text transmitted in Alciphr. II 35.1 should be maintained without correction. I base my argument on a comparison with the information provided by the epigraphic elegy from Salmakis known as «The pride of Halicarnassus» (SGO 01/12/02) and on a consideration of this epistle more attentive to the literary virtuosity of the authors of the Second Sophistic.
