El presente artículo continúa un proyecto de revisión de las etimologías de los préstamos de las lenguas de Asia oriental del Diccionario de la lengua española. En cada una de las entregas de este proyecto se investiga la coherencia de las adscripciones que aparecen en las glosas etimológicas del DLE; posteriormente se comprueba si las formas propuestas en el Diccionario son también coherentes con la teoría actual de la historia lingüística de las diferentes familias —la austronesia, en este artículo— y, finalmente, en los casos en los que tal coherencia no existe, se proponen nuevas adscripciones etimológicas, formas o glosas para esas formas. La intención del proyecto es esbozar una guía que facilite su labor al lexicógrafo a la hora de elaborar etimologías, tanto para el DLE como para los diccionarios históricos.Palabras clave: lengua tagala, lengua española, DLE, lexicografía, lingüística histórica
This article continues a project to review the etymologies of the loanwords of the East Asian languages of the Dictionary of the Spanish Language. In each of the articles of this project, the coherence of the ascriptions that appear in the etymological glosses of the DLE is investigated; Subsequently, it is checked whether the forms proposed in the Dictionary are also coherent with the current theory of the linguistic history of the different families —Austronesian, in this article— and, finally, in cases in which such coherence does not exist, new etymological ascriptions, forms or glosses for those forms are proposed.
