En este trabajo se presentan los resultados de un análisis mixto cuantitativo y cualitativo basado en corpus de los principales encuadres discursivos que vehiculan los mensajes publicados entre 2022 y 2023 en Twitter/X, desde los perfiles oficiales del Gobierno español y del partido que gobierna, el Partido Socialista. El estudio, basado en la teoría del framing aplicada al análisis del discurso político e institucional, y realizado con Sketch Engine y Atlas.ti, se centra en la selección léxica y busca determinar qué encuadres discursivos activan y qué semejanzas y diferencias presentan los dos perfiles en cuanto a su actividad en periodos electorales y durante la actividad legislativa y respecto a los temas y enfoques adoptados.
This paper presents the results of a mixed quantitative and qualitative corpus-based analysis of the main discursive frames that convey the messages published on Twitter/X by the official profiles of the Spanish Government and the governing party, the Socialist Party, between 2022 and 2023. The study, based on the framing theory applied to the analysis of political and institutional discourse, and conducted using Sketch Engine and Atlas.ti, focuses on the lexical selection and the discursive frames that this type of selection activates. The analysis also seeks to determine the similarities and the differences that exist between the two profiles in terms of their activity during electoral periods and legislative activities, as well as the topics and approaches adopted.
