El presente trabajo es un estudio descriptivo sobre el uso de las formas de tratamiento: {tú}, {usted}, {sumercé} con énfasis en la forma {vos}, en la colectividad de hablantes de la ciudad de Quito, capital del Ecuador. Tiene como objetivo analizar el uso de las formas de tratamiento en hablantes pertenecientes a una generación mayor. Para ello se realizan 636 encuestas aplicadas a través de Google form y 40 entrevistas in situ, de las cuales y de manera particular, se extrae una muestra específicamente del rango de informantes pertenecientes a edades entre 50 y 70 años y se contrasta con las entrevistas realizadas. Posteriormente se realiza una descripción sociopragmatolingüística considerando algunas variables sociales que contribuyen a encontrar el porqué de los múltiples y diversos usos de las formas de tratamiento.
The various forms of communication between people denote the interpersonal relations between speakers of a language, and there are variants of pronominal forms that we use when addressing a person. The present work is a descriptive study on the use of the forms of address: {tú}, {usted}, {sumercé} with emphasis on the form {vos}, in the community of speakers of the city of Quito, capital of Ecuador. The aim of the study is to analyse the use of the forms of address in speakers belonging to an older generation. To this end, 636 surveys were carried out using Google form app and 40 interviews were conducted in situ, from which a sample was drawn specifically from the range of informants aged between 50 and 70 years old and contrasted with the interviews carried out. Subsequently, a socio-linguistic socio-pragmatic description is carried out, considering some social variables that contribute to finding the reasons for the multiple and diverse uses of the forms of treatment.
