El escultor como sujeto agente, y la escultura como disciplina emancipada, moderna y contemporánea, ante su aportación a los tiempos que corren. Y el proceso material e intelectual, como ejemplo, que conlleva la ejecución de un trabajo: sobre Hypnos y Tanathos y el cortejo fúnebre; sobre el sueño y la muerte; sobre las personas que actúan alrededor del finado (amortajadoras, plañideras, las músicos, las mujeres que cantan y tocan, y las oferentes);
sobre lo litúrgico del acto, y la importancia de la estética en cada momento evidenciando la función social y el beneficio psíquico de los dolientes con la correcta ejecución de la prothesis (duelo) ante la desaparición del allegado
The artist as the agent and the sculpture as the emancipated discipline, modern and contemporary, and its contribution in our current days. As well as the material and intellectual process as an example concerning the development of a work: about Hypnos and Tanathos and the funeral procession; about the people in charge of the corpse (women who put the shroud over the dead, mourners, musicians, women who sing and play, and the offerers), about the liturgy, and the importance of the aestheics in each precise moment by highlighting the social function and the psychological benefit of the mourners due to the correct execution of the prothesis (the wake) and the disappearance of the next of kin.
