Ciertas parejas léxicas (agregar/añadir, elegir/escoger, trozo/pedazo, etc.) nunca vienen mencionadas en los estudios de dialectología tradicional o de geografía lingüística dedicados a los geosinónimos con diferente frecuencia de uso. Los términos que componen estas parejas se distinguen por ligeros matices denotativos relacionados con la existencia de varias acepciones. El examen, mediante el corpus electrónico CORPES XXI, de las frecuencias de uso de agregar y añadir muestra que estos verbos están efectivamente sometidos a la variación diatópica, la cual concierne dos acepciones en particular. Convendría realizar el mismo análisis con las demás parejas mencionadas arriba para ver si forman un conjunto coherente desde el punto de vista de la variación diatópica, e identificar posibles causas.
Certain lexical pairs (agregar/añadir, elegir/escoger, trozo/pedazo, etc.) are never mentioned in the studies of traditional dialectology or linguistic geography studies devoted to geosynonyms with different frequences of use. The terms that make up these pairs have the particularity of offering very slight denotative nuances linked to the existence of several meanings. The examination, using the CORPES XXI electronic corpus, of the frequencies of use of agregar and añadir shows that these verbs are indeed subject to diatopic variations, and that these variations concerns two acceptions of the verb in particular The same analysis should be carried out with the other pairs mentioned above to see if they form a coherent set from the point of view of diatopic variation, and to identify possible causes.
