El objetivo de nuestro artículo es aportar un análisis semántico-pragmático de dos marcadores españoles formados con el infinitivo del verbo ver –veamos a ver y vamos a ver–. Gracias al estudio semántico-pragmático de veamos a ver y de vamos a ver en diacronía –desde el siglo XV hasta el siglo XXI– nos acercaremos al sentido de lo que hoy en día se ha convertido en dos marcadores discursivos que sirven para detener la argumentación del interlocutor o del propio locutor. El estudio de ejemplos en contexto y las propiedades atribuidas a las dos locuciones permiten distinguir valores precisos de vamos a ver y de veamos a ver. Dicho estudio semántico-pragmático será puesto en contraste con un estudio previo sobre el marcador francés voyons voir, comprobando si este podría corresponder a la traducción de los marcadores españoles.
The aim of our paper is to provide a semantic- pragmatic analysis of two Spanish markers formed with the infinitive of the verb ver –veamos a ver and vamos a ver–. Thanks to the semantic-pragmatic study of veamos a ver and vamos a ver in diachrony –from the 15th to the 21st Century– we will approach the meaning of what nowadays have become two discursive markers that serve to stop the argumentation of the interlocutor or the speaker himself. The study of examples in context and the properties attributed to the two locutions allow us to distinguish precise values of vamos a ver and veamos a ver. This semantic-pragmatic study will be contrasted with a previous study on the French marker voyons voir, checking whether it could correspond to the translation of those Spanish markers.
