En esta investigación se presenta un análisis lexicológico de los vocablos fichera, fichar y ficha. En primer lugar, se muestra, con base en una documentación exhaustiva, que fichera, y los vocablos con los que se relaciona morfológica y semánticamente, comienza siendo un mexicanismo stricto sensu de ámbito objetivo, y posteriormente se convierte en lato sensu por su difusión en otras variedades del español; para ello se toman como base algunos términos usados en dialectología. En segundo lugar, se propone el periodo en el que el vocablo se integró al español mexicano, así como sus primeras documentaciones. Posteriormente, se muestra su difusión en otras variedades del español y se argumentan las causas que la motivaron. Por último, se discute por qué fichera no es una palabra que pertenezca a la jerga de los delincuentes mexicanos (caló o pachuco) como lo sugieren algunas obras.
The present article presents a lexicological analysis of the following words:fichera,fichar and ficha. On the one hand, by means of both an exhaustive documentation and dialectological terminology, we demonstrate that fichera and the words with which it is related morphologically and semantically begin as stricto sensu Mexicanisms of objective field to later become lato sensu, due to its diffusion in other variants of Spanish. On the other hand, the period in which the word was integrated into Mexican Spanish is proposed, as well as its first documentation. Subsequently, its diffusion in other varieties of Spanish is shown and the causes that motivated it are argued. Finally, we discuss the proposal made by other scholars of fichera to be part of Mexican thieves’ slang.
