Sergio Ramírez, galardonado con el premio Cervantes en 2017, termina su trilogía protagonizada por el inspector Dolores Morales con Tongolele no sabía bailar(2021). En esta novela, el protagonista ya no es miembro de la Policía Nacional como en la primera, ni el detective privado de la segunda novela, sino un perseguido en su propia patria. A pesar de la clandestinidad, realiza varios viajes y desplazamientos: 1) cruza ilegalmente la frontera entre Honduras y Nicaragua; 2) se sitúa en lugares inseguros como efecto del régimen represivo de Daniel Ortega y Rosario Murillo; 3) viaja mentalmente al pasado de la Revolución Sandinista; 4) abre nuevos espacios de investigación a través de las redes sociales; 5) sobrepasa los límites emocionales. En este artículo, se analizan estas transgresiones y multiplicaciones de los espacios narrados mediante herramientas de la narratología y cartografía literaria. Acorde a esto, semuestra que el estatus precario del inspector resulta en una fragmentación de la investigación criminal
Sergio Ramírez, winner of the 2017 Cervantes Prize, finishes his Inspector Dolores Morales trilogy with the 2021 novel Tongolele no sabía bailar(Dead Man Cast No Shadow). In the novel, the protagonist is no longer a member of the National Police, as he was in the first novelin the series; nor the private detective of the second novel, but, rather, a persecuted man in his own country. Despite his illegalstatus, he undertakes several journeys and becomes displaced a number of times: 1) he clandestinely crosses the border between Honduras and Nicaragua; 2)he puts himself in unsafe places as a consequence of the repressive Daniel Ortega-Rosario Murillo regime; 3) he mentally travels to the past of the Nicaraguan Revolution; 4) he opens new spaces of investigation through socialmedia; 5)he transcends emotional limits. This article analyses these transgressions and multiplications of narrated spaces using tools from narratology and literary cartography. Accordingly, it shows that the precarious status of the inspector results ina fragmentation of the criminal investigation
