En inglés y otras lenguas germánicas está muy extendido el concepto de phrasal verbpara hacer referencia a un tipo de construcciones formadas por una base verbal y una partícula, generalmente un adverbio o una preposición; pero este no está igualmente aceptado para las lenguas romances. En el presenteartículo se pretende realizar un breve estudio sobre este fenómeno, al que hemos denominado verbo sintagmático, aplicado al castellano, así como analizar el tratamiento que dicho tipo de construcciones ha recibido en los diccionarios publicados por la Real Academia Española desde su creación hasta la edición más reciente.
In English and other Germanic languages, the concept of phrasal verbis widely used to refer to a type of construction consisting of a verbal base and a particle, generally an adverb or a preposition. However, this concept is not equally accepted in Romance languages. This article aims to conduct a brief study on this phenomenon, which we have termed verbo sintagmático, as applied to Spanish, as well as to analyze the treatment that this type of construction has received in the dictionaries published by the Real Academia Española from its inception to the most recent edition.
