Este artículo analiza el proceso de creación y recepción de una serie de trabajos sobre Bernardino Rivadavia elaborados por Andrés Lamas en la década de 1880. Mediante este ejercicio se intenta examinar el funcionamiento del mundo del impreso en Argentina y la acción e interacción entre los diferentes agentes que participan en él, a la vez que comprender el rol de Lamas dentro del campo editorial e intelectual local y regional.
