The study of interlinguistic influences on learners of Catalan as an additional lan-guage (AL), understood as didactic opportunities, has received little attention so far. In this paper we analyze: (a) in what respects significant negative interlinguistic influences occur, especially when they can affect communication, in texts written by Francophone students learning Catalan at the B1 level of the CEFR; (b) what training needs arise from the interference detected, and (c) we consider the possibility of helping these learners by encouraging metalinguistic reflection and taking advantage of the proximity of the two Romance languages. The research, based on corpus analysis, error labelling and statisti-cal treatment of the data, has shown that it is necessary for these students to focus on metalinguistic awareness, in particular the correlations of the past and deixis, as well as the specific use of certain discourse connectors, lexical errors caused by calques, and the construction of the plural in nouns and adjectives
L’estudi de les influències interlingüístiques en aprenents de català com a llengua addicional (LA), enteses com a oportunitats didàctiques, no ha estat gaire abordat fins ara. En aquest article analitzem: (a) en quins aspectes es produeixen influències interlingüístiques negatives significatives, que poden afectar la comunicació, en textos escrits per estudiants francòfons aprenents de català del nivell B1 del MCER; (b) quines necessitats formatives es desprenen de les interferències detectades, i (c) plantegem la possibilitat d’ajudar aquests aprenents fomentant la reflexió metalingüística i aprofitant la proximitat de totes dues llengües romàniques. La recerca, basada en l’anàlisi de corpus, l’etiquetatge d’errors i el tractament estadístic de les dades, ha demostrat que per a aquests estudiants caldria centrar-se a fomentar la reflexió metalingüística fonamentalment en aspectes relacionats amb les correlacions del passat i la dixi; l’ús particular de certs connectors; els errors de lèxic provocats pels calcs i la construcció del plural en noms i adjectius.
