This work consists of a didactic proposal for the development of intercultural competence in the ELE classroom through key manifestations such as literature and music in an area little worked on such as of death, with a deep and broad sociocultural base and very productive in linguistic exponents in our language. The proposed activities are divided into three phases, presentation, practice and production, and encourage conscious and explicit reflection on cultural representations and manifestations, both of their culture of origin (alpha) and of the target culture (omega).
