This article proposes a reading of Un jardín olvidado (2007), by Luis Bagué Quílez, from an ekphrastic and transmedial perspective that examines the dialogic mechanisms between poetic language and other forms of artistic representation. The analysis explores the poems in relation to works—painting, film, photo, and music—explicitly or implicitly invoked, with the aim of investigating the processes of aesthetic mediation that structure the volume. The transmedial dimension of the book underscores that all aesthetic experience is inherently intertextual and interartistic. The perception of the present and the reconstruction of memory are mediated by inherited cultural strata that intersect and come into tension at decisive moments. The garden thus emerges as a liminal space where gaze, memory, and tradition converge.
