L�objectiu d�aquest article és contribuir a la caracterització de la conferència com a gènere monològic del discurs academicocientífic, amb el fi de facilitar�ne l�assimilació en contextos d�ensenyament-aprenentatge del discurs oral formal. En primer lloc, es fa referència a algunes qüestions terminològiques i conceptuals amb el propòsit de distingir les accepcions i variants del gènere més freqüents. A continuació, es realitza una breu reflexió sobre les fluctuacions terminològiques produïdes per l�analogia entre les diferents variants o per la manca de correspondència nominal en altres llengües. Per últim, s�aprofundeix en les propietats textuals, contextuals i estructurals d�aquest gènere discursiu de l�àmbit academicocientífic i se sistematitzen les característiques generals per tal de facilitar-ne la identificació
The aim of this paper is to contribute to the characterization of the conference as a monologic genre of the scientific-academic discourse, in order to facilitate their assimilation into teaching and learning contexts of formal oral discourse. Firstly, reference is made to some terminological and conceptual issues in order to distinguish the more frequently acceptations and variants of the gender. A brief reflection is done on the terminological fluctuations produced by the analogy between the different variants nominal or lack of correspondence in other languages.
Finally it explores the textual, contextual and structural properties of this discursive genre of academic-scientific field and general characteristics are systematized in order to facilitate their identification.
