The Spanish School of Declamation issued by the Royal Conservatory of Music and Declamation of Madrid provides a direct link between training and professional stage acting throughout the nineteenth century. This tradition, represented by the masters of romantic and realistic theater, still in the first third of the twentieth century. Carmen Seco (1888-1967) represents the profile of the Spanish theater masterpieces that have been, first, students of the conservatories, then great actress with a long career and who exercise their teaching in transmission technique and repertoire, while continuing his work on stage.
La Escuela de Declamación Española emanada del Real Conservatorio de Música y Declamación de Madrid establece el vínculo directo entre la formación actoral y la escena profesional a lo largo del siglo XIX. Esta tradición, representada por las actrices y maestras del teatro romántico y realista, continúa en el primer tercio del siglo XX. Carmen Seco (1888-1967) representa el perfil de las maestras del teatro español que han sido, primero, alumnas en los conservatorios, luego, grandes actrices con una dilatada carrera y que ejercerán su magisterio en la transmisión de la técnica y el repertorio, sin abandonar su tarea en el escenario.
