This paper is focused on the tasks carried out by the groups of British suffragist actresses and writers, Women Writer’s Suffrage League, Actresses’ Franchise League and The Pioneer Players. These associations organized themselves to write, produce, manage and per-form hundreds of propaganda plays to claim women rights. This paper shows the main purposes of this type of political plays and analyses more specifically some of them as being useful tools to get the right to vote for women in 1918.
