El presente trabajo se propone analizar los elementos que evocan la cultura del olivo y la importancia del aceite de olivo en la España del siglo XVII a través del Tesoro de las dos lenguas de César Oudin, el diccionario hispano-francés bilingüe y bidireccional que más audiencia logró a lo largo del siglo XVII.
This paper intends to analyze those elements evoking the olive culture and the importance of olive oil in 17th century Spain by perusing the Thesaurus of both languages by César Oudin, the most successful Spanish-French bilingual and bidirectional dictionary of the 17th century.
