En este artículo estudiamos la metáfora “la música es fuego” en la poesía del escritor castellano-leonés Antonio Colinas. Partimos de la hipótesis de que la metáfora conceptual que subyace a tal construcción transmite una vivencia de la armonía por parte del sujeto lírico que afecta tanto a sus sentimientos amorosos, en una primera etapa, pasando por la afectación del cosmos y de la naturaleza, en una segunda fase, hasta llegar, finalmente, en el tercer momento de la escritura, a ser experimentada como constituyente íntimo del yo lírico. Se concluye así que tal metáfora contribuye a fundar una estética de la mansedumbre que caracteriza la poesía de este escritor.
In this article we study the metaphor “music is fire” in the poetry of theLeonese-Castillian writer Antonio Colinas from Leon. We start from the hypothesis that the conceptual metaphor that underlies such a construction transmits an experience of harmony on the part of the lyrical subject that affects both their loving feelings, in a first stage, going through the affectation of the cosmos and nature, in a second phase, until arriving,finally,in the third moment of writing, to be experienced as an intimate constituent of the lyrical self. It is concluded like this that such a metaphor contributes to constitute an aesthetic of meekness that characterizes the poetry of this writer.
