En el presente trabajo se exponen las alteraciones endocrinológicas que, se estima, presentan tres personajes del cuadro de Las Meninas: la Infanta Margarita y los enanos Nicolás Pertusato y Maribarbola. También se analizan la presencia del búcaro en ese lienzo y los trastornos toxicológicos-alimenticios que en aquel tiempo ocasionaba el mal uso que se hacía del mismo.
This paper presents the endocrinological alterations that are estimated to be present: three characters from The Meninas painting: the Infanta Marguerite and the dwarfs Nicholas Pertusato and Maribarbola. It also analyzes the presence of the buckaro in that painting and the toxicological and nutritional disorders caused at that time by its misuse.
