El de la muerte es un tema frecuente en el cancionero popular mexicano, esto tiene que ver con la presencia obsesiva que el tema y el personaje tiene en el imaginario de nuestro país. Lo mismo ocurre con el Más Allá, un punto que en nuestra lírica parece tener muchas puertas de retorno. Esta posibilidad se repite en varias ocasiones en el Cancionero, ya sea como tópico, como metáfora poética o como simple fórmula, el regreso de los muertos puede verse como una posibilidad real o imaginaria dependiendo del tono de la canción. El presente estudio destaca estos elementos, así como la tradición detrás de muchos de ellos.
The Death is one of the most interesting topics in popular lyrics of México, this has to be with the obsessive presence of the theme and the character have in our imaginary. The same happens with the Afterlife, a point that, in our lyrics, seems to have many doors of return. This possibility is repeated several times in our Cancionero Foklórico de México, whether as a cliché, as a poetic metaphor or as a simple formula, the return of the dead can be seen as a real or imaginary possibility on the tone of the song. The present study highlights these elements, as well as the tradition behind many of them.
