    El presente artículo intenta aclarar la génesis y evolución de las palabras japonesas de origen chino que aparecen en la edición vigente del Diccionario de la Lengua Española. En una primera parte del artículo se pone al tanto al lector de la información básica y necesaria con respecto a los estudios de las lenguas japonesa y china a fin de que le sea posible comprender ese origen y evolución, que se detallan en la segunda parte del trabajo.

    This article tries to determine the origin and evolution of the Japanese words of Chinese origin that appear in the current edition of the Dictionary of the Spanish Language. In a first part of the article, the reader is informed of the basic and necessary information regarding the studies of the Japanese and Chinese languages so that it is possible to understand such origin and evolution, which are detailed in the second part of the article.
