Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la configuración fónica en la confluencia centrooriental de Priego de Córdoba, Algarinejo y Alcalá la Real entre las décadas de 1760 y 1780, con base en un robusto corpus epistolar rubricado por María Valverde, criada oriunda de la villa cordobesa de Priego. La oportunidad de este trabajo viene apuntalada por concurrir en la escribiente numerosos hechos sociolingüísticos que con muy poca frecuencia son acaparados simultáneamente por un mismo individuo en los estudios sobre lingüística histórica del español, esto es, ser mujer, no pertenecer al ámbito urbano, ni a los estamentos noble o religioso, acreditar una relativa movilidad geográfica y dominar la técnica y las convenciones escriturarias de su época. Los datos analizados contribuyen, teórica y empíricamente, a matizar lo sabido sobre la caracterización diacrónica del español en Andalucía a través de su estudio ecdótico y, críticamente, a reflexionar sobre asunciones relativamente generalizadas atinentes a factores sociolingüísticos y textuales.
This paper aims at analyzing the phonic configuration at the central-eastern confluence of Priego de Córdoba, Algarinejo and Alcalá la Real between the decades of 1760 and 1780, based on a robust epistolary corpus signed by María Valverde, a maid from the Cordoban town of Priego. The opportunity of this work is underpinned by the fact that numerous sociolinguistic facts that very rarely show in an individual at the same time in the studies on historical linguistics of Spanish, that is, to be a woman who does not belong to the urban environment, nor the noble or religious classes, and who demonstrates a relative geographical mobility and masters the technique and writing conventions of her time. The data analyzed in this work contribute, theoretically and empirically, to clarify the current diachronic characterization of Spanish in Andalusia through its ecdotic study and, critically, to question relatively widespread assumptions related to sociolinguistic and textual factors.
