El presente artículo rebate el enfoque aceptado por la crítica para definir la figura de Ricardo, protagonista de Crimen legal (1886) de Alejandro Sawa. Este ha sido visto como el primer caso de novelización del delincuente nato propugnado por la Antropología Criminal italiana, comandada por Cesare Lombroso, a la luz de su comportamiento, de algunas características fisonómicas y de la herencia familiar.
This article refutes the approach accepted by the critics to define the figure of Richard, the protagonist of Crimen Legal (1886) by Alejandro Sawa. This has been seen as the first case of novelization of the born criminal by the Italian Criminal Anthropology, commanded by Cesare Lombroso, in light of his behavior, some physiognomic characteristics and family heritage.
