A partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y hasta la primera mitad del siglo XX, como consecuencia de la inestabilidad política, económica y social de Europa, arribaron a la Argentina grandes contingentes migratorios de origen diverso. El objetivo de esta investigación consiste en determinar y analizar, desde un punto de vista lingüístico y diatópico, las unidades fraseológicas (UF) del español de Argentina que contienen en su estructura interna italianismos y lunfardismos, como testimonios vigentes del contacto lingüístico y cultural en el ámbito migratorio rioplatense. En particular, se estudia el proceso a través del cual elementos léxicos y/o fraseológicos fueron migrando y penetrando hasta llegar a integrarse en la lengua de la sociedad receptora, a través de diferentes vías como los préstamos, los calcos fraseológicos o las creaciones neológicas. Los datos que se estudian se obtuvieron mediante la elaboración de un corpus de 179 UF extraídas manualmente de fuentes lexicográficas. From the second half of the 19th century until the first half of the 20th century, as a consequence of the political, economic and social instability in Europe, large migratory contingents of different origin arrived in Argentina. The objective of this research is to determine and analyze, from a linguistic and diatopic approach, the phraseological units (PU) of Argentine Spanish that contain Italianisms and Lunfardism in their internal structure, as current testimonies of linguistic and cultural contact in the River Plate migratory area. In particular, the process through which lexical and/or phraseological elements were migrating and penetrating until they became integrated into the language of the receiving society, through different ways such as loanwords, phraseological calques or neological creations is studied. The data studied were obtained by preparing a corpus of 222 PU manually extracted from lexicographical sources.
