A pesar de los múltiples estudios sobre actitudes positivas o negativas en algunos diccionarios de americanismos, poco se ha hablado sobre las valoraciones o alusiones acientíficas en el tratamiento de voces de diferente procedencia en obras lexicográficas de contenido provincial o regional. En realidad, el estudio de estas alusiones ofrece un panorama interesante para la valoración actitudinal de la lengua en sus dimensiones diatópicas, diastráticas y diafásicas, y dentro del periodo de tiempo concreto que le ha tocado vivir al lexicógrafo en cuestión. En este trabajo, en cambio, no solo aludiremos a algunos casos de valoraciones positivas o negativas del investigador ante una determinada voz, sino que sacaremos también a la luz las discusiones acientíficas surgidas en el seno de las explicaciones de cada entrada lexicográfica. No en pocas ocasiones, la obra que presentamos ahora a análisis, el Diccionario general de americanismos de Francisco J. Santamaría, hace alusiones críticas a las tipificaciones planteadas en otros diccionarios de la misma materia, pero con comentarios acientíficos que se apartan del tratamiento objetivo que se le exige a este tipo de obras. Será, pues, foco principal de este estudio el resalte de aquellas manifestaciones subjetivas que conlleven, en cierta medida, el planteamiento de discusiones subjetivas en la valoración de cada entrada lexicográfica y la conexión de estas con un metadiscurso generado posiblemente en artículos periodísticos, y que puede ratificarnos la idea de por qué Santamaría enfoca las definiciones con un carácter menos técnico que la lexicografía convencional.
Despite the many studies on positive or negative attitudes in some dictionaries of Americanisms, little has been said about the assessments or unscientific allusions in the treatment of words of different origins in lexicographic works of provincial or regional content. In fact, the study of these allusions offers an interesting panorama for the attitudinal evaluation of the language in its diatopic, diastratic and diaphasic dimensions, and within the specific period of time in which the lexicographer in question has lived. In this work, on the other hand, we will not only allude to some cases of positive or negative evaluations of the researcher connected with a word's definition, but we will also bring to light the unscientific discussions that have arisen within the explanations of each lexicographic entry. Not infrequently, the work we now present for analysis, the Diccionario general de americanismos by Francisco J. Santamaría, makes critical allusions to the typifications presented in other dictionaries of the same subject, but with unscientific comments that deviate from the objective treatment required of this type of work. Therefore, the main focus of this study will be the highlighting of those subjective manifestations that entail, to a certain extent, the approach of unscientific discussions in the evaluation of each lexicographical entry and the connection of these with a meta-discourse possibly generated in journalistic articles, and which may be related to a meta-discourse generated by the dictionary
